Since the BSA officially allowed Troops to accept female applicants, Troop 284 jumped at the opportunity and Troop 284G was chartered. No longer would brothers be allowed to have all the fun.

Troop 284 and 284G do everything together, but Troop 284G has a female scout master and female leaders, only daytime activities and meal times are co-ed.

This Troop is dedicated to the safety and well-being of every scouter and put in place every safe guard towards this end, including all leadership receiving continual training and certifications.
